overwrite BT2 with BT3

setelah sekian lama gugling dengan kata kunci backtrack 3, dapat beberapa informasi yang dapat di jadikan referensi tukinstalasi BT3, saya menggunakan BT2 sebelumnya, dirilisnya BT3 membuat saya berkeinginan untuk mengupgrade dari BT2 ke BT3, alhasil saya tidak mendapatkan cara yang pas, apa boleh buat saya cuma mengback up data2 di BT2 kemudian dengan harapan serba tidak pasti, maklum newbie di dunia komputer......saya siapkan CD BT3 yang siap berselancar di kompie gw....
masukkan CD n Alhamdulillah bisa berjalan seperti yang aku inginkan, kompie nyala sampe akhirnya memasuki window BT3, wow keren tampilannya, btw g nemu cara upgrade dari BT2 ke BT3, maka kujalankan qtparted tuk format partisi HDD yang berisikan BT2(datanya dah di selamatkan sebelumnya), formatted sukses, kemudian proses instalasi bejalan sampe selesai, urutan pengerjaan yang gw lakuin kaya berikut ini,

onkan komputer kemudian setting komputer booting dari CD/DVD room
masukkan CD BT 3
tunggu sampai loading dan pilih menu KDE
komputer bekerja tuk masuk ke jendela window backtrack
untuk menghindari kesalahan dan menumpuknya data saya ambil kesimpulan tuk format partisi ext3, tempat backtrack 2 terinstal sebelumnya dengan cara masuk konsole/shell/terminal

bt ~ # qtparted

muncul jendela q parted dan pilih partisinya tross format n jangan lupa pilih commit n yes
setelah partisinya bersih, lanjutkan dengan atur koneksi
jika koneksi lewat wlan0 ato eth0 mungkin g terlalu susah settingannya cos langsung aja set static ato dinamic IPnya dengan masuk ke Wlan Manager
jika menggunakan modem Handphone atau modem GSM lainnya, ini akan saya bahas di topik lain
anggap dah konek ke internet n donlot file slax6-install.kmdr
file ini dapat di peroleh di

setelah sukses donlot “slax6-install.kmdr” jalankan dari konsole tuk memunculkan jendela installer

setelah muncul window installer
install slax di partisi HDD yang telah disiapkan, klo saya di /dev/sda3
kemudian MBR (Master Boot Record) di /dev/sda
tunggu sampai selesai = 100%
kembali ke konsole

bt ~ # reboot

kemudian enter, proses instalasi selesai,,,,
komputer restart n keluarkan CD BT3
BT3 dah siap digunakan

selamat menggunakan BT3
